PM Modi awards winners of India-Singapore hackathon

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today honored the winners of the first India-Singapore hackathon in Singapore on Thursday. This hackathon was organized by Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar tweeted, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the winning parties of India-Singapore Hacathan and honored them. This was agreed during the visit of Singapore Prime Minister to India in June 2018. “

PM Modi said, “Glad to meet newcomers who won the first India-Singapore Hackathon. They talked about their intensive activities. I was impressed by their enthusiasm and their commitment to finding a solution to the challenges present in the world. “In this hackathon, 20-20 parties from both countries participated.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday discussed the bilateral issues by separating them from their counterparts from Singapore, Australia and Thailand on the occasion of East Asia Summit. Initially Modi met Singapore’s Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong. The meeting was said to be very fruitful by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in India through a tweet. The PMO said, “In the meeting, discussions related to India-Singapore relations related issues, especially trade and relations of citizens of each other.”
After this, PM Modi met Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar tweeted, “There was talk of extending deeper relations between the two leaders in the field of trade and investment, defense and security and other bilateral cooperation.”

Later, the Indian Prime Minister met with his Thailand counterpart, Abhisit Vejjajiva. The PMO said in a second tweet, “Both leaders discussed various issues including trade, commerce and contacts.”
