11 killed in Virgina Beach Municipal Center gunfire
In the Virginia province on Friday, a person fired indiscriminately in the building of Virginia Beach Municipal Center, in which 11 people died and six other seriously injured.
Virginia Police Chief James Cervera has confirmed the killing of 11 people in this shootout. CNN in its report sourced from the police said this incident of firing took place at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center building on Friday afternoon when people were coming here for business operations.
According to the police, the fugitive accused was also an employee here. It is being told that the police has retaliated and killed the firing person but the identity of the accused attacker has not yet been revealed.
The office colleagues hid themselves in the building. Some wanted to sit down under the desk, so that they could get out of harm’s way. All were shouting loudly. The person who first killed was the man on the vehicle outside the building. After which the attacker came into the building and started firing indiscriminately.
A policeman was also injured in this shootout, but his life saved his life from a jacket. Police say that the accused was upset with the workplace. They say that they have more questions than the answer.
It is worth mentioning that this is the most fatal incident in the US firing after November last year. Earlier in November, 12 people were killed in the firing in California’s Borderline Bar & Grill.
