Schools re-open for class X, XII students in Uttarakhand; online classes to continue

All government, non-government and private schools have opened for offline classes from today for the students of class 10th to 12th in the state. While Anganwadi centres, schools for children of class nine and below will remain closed till further orders. However, online education will also continue.

In view of the increasing cases of Covid in the state, the government had ordered the closure of all the schools in the state till further orders, but now it is time to physically open the schools for the students of class 10th, 11th and 12th.

After the Chief Secretary Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, an order in this regard has been issued by the Education Department. It has been said in the order that the Covid guide line will be strictly followed at the time of opening of the school.

State pre-board exams from Feb 2

The order and schedule of Uttarakhand state pre board examinations has been released. Pre board examinations will be held from February 2 to February 10. On February 2, there will be social science paper for class 10 students and history paper for class 12 students. Earlier, the pre board examinations were to be held from January 20 to January 29.

Meanwhile, due to Corona, classes from class 6 to class 12 were conducted online till January 31. Also the pre board exam was postponed. Now the government has once again opened schools due to the slowdown in Corona. Schools from 10th to 12th have been opened under the Corona guideline.
