2 die as 115 year old bridge collapses in Doon
The 115-year-old bridge broke down on Friday in Birpur in Garhi Cantt area of Doon. Two people were killed in the bridge collapse, while many others were injured. At the same time, several vehicles are expected to be buried in the debris.

On Friday morning, a dumper full of sand from the bridge passed. In the meanwhile, the bridge suddenly broke down. Many cars, including a dumpster, were buried in the debris in the accident. Rescue team arrived at the spot on the information.
So far, two bodies have been taken out. At the same time, the injured have been admitted to Synergy Hospital. It is being told that some days ago, the CM had laid the foundation of the new bridge to replace this bridge. In two days work was going to begin on the new bridge. At present, relief work is in progress.
