7 laborers dead during all weather road construction near Kedarnath

There was a tragic accident in Uttarakhand on Friday. On the Rudraprayag-Gaurikund highway, many workers were buried in the rubble due to the breaking of rock in Banswara. So far seven workers have died in the accident while three are seriously injured.

Accident occurs at Rudraprayag-Gaurikund Highway

It is being told that the work of All Weather Road was underway. During this the rock fell apart. Because of which JCB has also gone into the river. More than 16 laborers are buried in the rubble.
Rescue teams and police have reached the spot as soon as they got the information. The bodies of seven laborers have been recovered during this period. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
