BJYM member killed in Lucknow

In Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) worker was assassinated on Monday night with a knife. The deceased has been identified as Pratyush Mani Tripathi (36), Aminabad resident and the incident is near the Badshahnagar railway crossing.

Angry workers at the King George’s Medical College Trauma Center were very angry at the killing of the BJYM leader. The protesters were demanding the resignation of the SSP Kalanidhi Nathani of Lucknow. The workers demanded that the family of BJYM leader Pratyush Mani Tripathi be given Rs 50 lakh as compensation, and their killers be arrested immediately. The protesters claimed that on November 25, the miscreants attacked Tripathi, but the police did not take the matter seriously. Along with this Tripathi also complained to SSP Nathani and demanded protection.

Metropolitan Police Station CO Santosh Kumar Singh says that he got the information at 10:30 pm that an individual has been involved in an accident. When the police reached there, Tripathi’s blood-stained body was lying near the track and the police took him to KGMU Trauma Center. Where the doctors declared him dead. Singh said that Tripathi had a injury on his body but after the post-mortem, the real reason for death would be clear.

Meanwhile, Lucknow’s SSP Kalanidhi Nathani said that the police is trying to capture the killers on the transcript of the name given by the closest names of Tripathi.
