Uttarakhand weather update: Snowfall in the hills to increase cold in the plains

The hills and plains of the state have started witnessing mild cold, the higher Himalayan regions are experiencing snowfall.

Tomorrow i.e. on November 6 and the day after tomorrow on November 7, the Uttarakhand Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of increasing cold. In the next two days, there is a possibility of snowfall in all parts of the state with light rain, which will increase the cold. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain at some places in the mountainous areas including the plains of the state on November 6 and 7, while there is a possibility of snowfall in the higher Himalayan regions of the state. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the high altitude areas of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts of Uttarakhand state on November 6.

Along with this, there is a possibility of very light snowfall at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts of the state at an altitude of 3500 meters and above. The forecast of November 7 is that there is a possibility of light to very light rain at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Dehradun and Tehri districts of Uttarakhand state. Along with this, there is a possibility of very light snowfall at places of altitude 3500 meters and above in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts of the state. Due to rain and snowfall, it is expected that the temperature will drop, which will increase the cold.
