Uttarakhand daily corona update: 221 cases found on 25 October
In Uttarakhand, the government and health department have got relief due to the decrease in the rate of corona infection. In the last 24 hours on Sunday, nine patients died and 221 have been infected. The total number of infected has reached 60376.
According to Health Department data, 6081 samples were found negative on Sunday. The maximum number of 89 corona patients has been found in Dehradun district. 30 patients have been found in Haridwar, 22 in Rudraprayag, 21 in Nainital, 13 in Pauri, 13 in Chamoli, nine in Uttarkashi, 8 in Udham Singh Nagar, 8 in Champawat, 6 in Tehri, 1 each in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts. .
9 corona infected patients have died in the state. Four patients died at AIIMS Rishikesh, one at Kailash Hospital, one at Medicity Hospital Rudrapur, two at District Hospital Udham Singh Nagar and one at Sushila Tiwari Medical College Haldwani. The death toll has risen to 993.
At the same time, 319 patients were discharged. With this, 54488 patients have been cured. For the first time, the state’s recovery rate has exceeded 90 percent. Treatment of 4425 active patients is currently underway.
Corona cases decreasing on a weekly basis
In Corona, the situation in Uttarakhand is seems to be coming under control. 2507 new cases of corona were reported in the state in the 32nd week (18-24 October). This is the lowest weekly figure of corona patients in eleven weeks. It is also reassuring that 85110 samples have been examined in the meantime. This is the most test taken in a week so far. That is, despite the increased testing, the rate of finding new patients of Corona has decreased. The 32nd week infection rate is at its lowest level of fifteen weeks (2.95%). A good thing is also that in eight weeks, the lowest number of deaths occurred during this period. This relief continued on Sunday as well. Corona has been confirmed in 221 more people in the state.
According to information received from the Health Department, a total of 6302 sample test reports have been received from private and government labs. Out of which 6081 sample reports have been negative. Corona has been confirmed among the maximum 89 people in Dehradun district.
