Uttarakhand corona update: 36 new cases on 3rd September; active cases go past 400
36 new corona infected have been found in Uttarakhand in the last 24 hours. At the same time, not a single patient has died. While 09 patients were sent home after recovery. The number of active cases has also increased to 410. Whereas on Thursday there were 383 active patients in the state.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, the test report of 16510 samples has come negative on Friday. Not a single infected patient has been found in nine districts of Almora, Champawat, Haridwar, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi.
So far, the total number of corona infected in the state has increased to 343070. Of these, 329221 people have been cured. A total of 7387 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state.

Slow pace of vaccination in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar
100% first dose vaccination has been done in Bageshwar and Rudraprayag districts of the state. Whereas in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar district, the speed of vaccination is slowest. Nearly 70 per cent vaccination has been done in both the districts in the above 45 age group. While the percentage of vaccination in the age group of 18 to 44 is less than 75 percent.
