Inter city bus service begin in Almora

Eventually, the Inter City Bus Service started in the hill town of Almora. Experimental operations of two buses were started from Wednesday. ARTO Alok Joshi flagged off the bus with a green flag. On the first day, both buses made three-three rounds. On the first day, about 80 passengers traveled on the Inter City Bus.
Long time people were demanding that the Inter City Bus Service should be started in the city. So that people do not face difficulty in moving from one place to another. On Wednesday, two buses were started on pilot basis. In which one bus was run from Karbala to Vikas Bhawan and then back to Link Road and the second bus was run from NTD to Dharanaula and from Karbala to Mallroad-Lakshmeshara Thirah and then from Dhuri’s Tuni to NTD. The bus fares up to two km is five rupees, two to four km is seven, four to six km  is rupees ten and six to eight km 12 rupees, 8 to 10 km 14 rupees, 10 to 12 km  is 16 rupees and 12 to 14 km is 18 rupees.

On the first day, both buses made three-three rounds collecting about Rs 1500. Here, ARTO Alok Joshi told that buses will be run on two routes for a week now. If the experiment is successful then the service will be regulated.
