Cops nab 3 youth with 10000 worth fake currency notes

Rudrapur/Udham Singh Nagar: In a major success for the police, the cops were able to nab 3 youth with a bundle of fake currency amounting to Rs 10,000. The police filed a case against all 3 culprits and put them behind bars.

According to a police official, the police were alerted on Friday night about 3 youths allegedly trying to pass off fake currency notes of Rupees 500 denomination in the area. The SI and his team reached the spot on getting the information and nabbed the culprits. Further interrogation revealed that they were carrying more fake notes which totaled to Rs 10,000. Out of the 3 nabbed culprits , one is believed to be from West Bengal while the other two say they belong to Uttar Pradesh.
