Vyasi hydro power project likely to be completed by December 2018
The work of 120 MW capacity hydro power project will be completed by December this year. The Central Joint Secretary (Water Resources River Development and Ganga Protection) Sanjay Kundu inspected this project along with state Secretary Energy Radhika Jha and other officials. During this review, the instructions were given to complete the work till December.
During the inspection, officials gave information related to the project. SDM Vikasnagar and Rehabilitation Officer Jitendra Kumar informed about the steps taken for rehabilitation. At the site of the project, the officials reviewed the construction works of the dam and power house along with the local contractors along with the UJVNL, NPCCL and GECPL and issued appropriate guidelines. Secretary Energy Radhika Jha instructed to complete all remaining works till December.
