Molestation case registered against IIT Roorkee professors

In the sexual harassment case of the student of IIT Roorkee, a case has been filed against the two professors under SC-ST act, fatal attack and threat of death. The SSP said that the names of other people will also be filed in the case when the indecency of others is revealed. A research student at IIT Roorkee in a complaint at Civil Lines Kotwali on December 14, accused her professors of sexual harassment and caste discrimination. The student said that the process of harassment began against her in the institute two years ago. Her supervising authority created her video and harassed her. She was harassed on caste grounds. SSP Ridhim Agarwal has formed a three-member SIT for investigating the case. In the case, the report has been submitted to SSP on behalf of SIT. After this, a case has been filed against two professors in Civil Lines Kotwali.  SSP Ridhim Agarwal said that the matter is under investigation. The SIT examined the case. Case has been registered against two people have after the initial investigation. Checks are still underway for the case. If anyone else’s name also appears in the investigation then they will also be involved in the trial. The SSP said that if any attempt to tamper the case, then action will also be taken against them.
