Fed up of traffic, software engineer in Bengaluru reaches office on horse back

Formal clothes, laptop bag on the shoulders, Rupesh Kumar had the look of a ubiquitous software engineer in Bengaluru except instead of driving around in a car or bike, the techie reached his office on a horse. In a picture that has gone viral on social media, there is also a placard with a person sitting on a white horse. It is written that, ‘Last working day as a software engineer’.  This photo is now being shared on a number of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Whatspp. According to News 18, the person sitting on the horse is Rupesh Kumar Verma, a software engineer by profession. He was so troubled by the traffic jams of Bengaluru that adopted a unique method to express its opposition against it and decided to go to the office on a horse.
Rupesh Kumar Verma says that, “I have been living in Bengaluru for the last 8 years and have been troubled by air pollution and other problems. There is a lot of crowd in Bengaluru. Carts on roads are also more than needed. Because of which everyone gets jammed ‘ Though Rupesh Kumar Verma’s ride was not favorable to many people, Security Guard stopped the Rupesh from the office gate. Though Rupesh tried to convince the guards that horse is his ride. Though Rupesh says that he himself did not know that his photo will be reacted by so many people and it will become viral.
Rupesh Kumar Verma says that, ‘I did not know that it would be viral. This was my last day and also the way to get rid of traffic jams. Many times it is so much jammed that one has to wait 30-40 minutes in one place. There are several ways to deal with this. We should use IT (Information Technology) resources.’ On the photo of Rupesh, people also made a variety of comments on social media. Someone told a good way to save fuel, someone wrote that this was the most unique way of expressing anger. Rupesh is now preparing to start his own start up.
