5 terrorists killed in encounter in Kashmir; Burhan Wani gang wiped out

In the Kashmir Valley, there was a big success in the ‘Operation All Out’ being run by the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. 5 terrorists have been killed in the hour-long encounter. With the death of Hizbul militant Saddam Pader, who died in Shopian encounter, Burhan Wani Gang has been wiped out. Among the killed terrorists, a professor turned terrorist was also killed.

From the morning of Sunday, fierce firing was going on between the security forces and terrorists, and before noon security forces got a big success when they killed 5 militants. A citizen also died in this encounter. At the beginning, two security personnel were injured in this encounter. The injured belonged to  army and a police.

Terrorists  were first asked to surrender

The killed 5 terrorists included Saddam as well as Dr. Mohammed Rafi Bhatt, Bilal Maulvi and Adil Malik. Rafi Bhatt was a Professor of Kashmir University, and to call him, the security forces called his family to the spot so that he could be brought in front. But in the encounter five terrorists have been killed.

SSP Shopian requeste the terrorists hidden during the encounter to surrender, which was turned down by the terrorists and  they started firing in response.
While distributing information about the encounter DGP of Jammu and Kashmir, Shesh Pal Vaidya informed that the encounter in the Shopian’s Jainpora Badigam is over. The bodies of 5 militants have been recovered. The army, the CRPF and the state police have done a great job. Saddam Pader was the top terrorist commander of Hizbul and he was the only surviving Hizbul commander involved in the Burhan Brigade.

SOG policeman Anil Kumar and 44 Rajputana Rifles personnel were injured in an encounter in the Badigam area of ​​Shopian district of South Kashmir. Both of them were immediately evacuated from the encounter area and admitted to the nearby military hospital.
