Essential item shops to remain open in Uttarakhand from 7 to 10 A.M on 24 March

Taking a lesson from the first day of lockdown in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat led state government has taken a big decision. Essential goods shops, ATMs and banks will open from seven to ten tomorrow morning i.e March 24. After this, all establishments will remain closed. There will also be a complete ban on the operation of private vehicles. After this the undeclared curfew will be implemented. Strict action will be taken against those who leave the house after the scheduled time. Only essential services will remain open during this time.

 

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat issued a message on Monday, 24 March after a meeting with higher officials about the change in the pattern of lockdown. The Chief Minister said that on Tuesday, shops of essential commodities like milk, vegetables, ration etc. will be open from 7 am to 10 am. People can leave home to shop. But all the shops will be closed at ten o’clock i.e people have a 3 hour window to shop for essential commodities.

After this, the movement of private vehicles will also be completely restricted. The District Magistrates have been ordered to take strict action against the violators. The Chief Minister said that the status of the lockdown will be reviewed again with high officials on Tuesday late evening. If there is a need to make any changes in the system, it will be changed. Otherwise this system will run for the next few days.
