India’s Tata Motors’ Nexon compact SUV is getting discussions all over the world. Tata Nexon has emerged as the safest Indian car. UK-based Globe NCAP has announced that Tata Nexon has got the highest rating in terms of security.
Global NCAP is coming up with the crash safety test of Indian cars since 2014 and they say that Nexon was given 4 star rating in August this year and now the company has added additional security equipment to be added as a standard facility. Now in the latest test, Nexon has received 5 stars for adult protection. At the same time, there are 3 stars in the case of child protection. In some additional safety features, standard work has again worked on the car’s structure to pass the seat belt reminder for drivers and passenger and more stringent UN95 side impact security requirements.
Global NCAP Secretary-General, David Ward said, “This is a huge landmark for car safety in India.” Nexon has been built in India and it shows the huge potential of the domestic industry to achieve excellence in safety design and performance.
