Female couple beaten up in a bus in London
A same gender couple was attacked in a London bus when they refused to kiss each other. The attackers had earlier demanded that the couple kiss each other so that they can see both of them kissing. The couple refused to do this. Both women were assaulted in the attack.
The attackers broke the jaws of American woman Chris and broke the nose of her partner. The women were also robbed. The 29-year-old Chris was traveling with her 28-year-old partner Melania Geymonat. This incident took place on May 30 in northwestern London.
However, after the incident, Chris said – we are not afraid to be seen as lesbian couples. Chris said that some youths saw each us holding hands and started demanding to do a sexual gesture. In case 4 teenagers have been arrested.
Chris said that they stood up from their seats and came to us. They were very aggressive and were torturing us. One was standing behind the forehead and was bouncing coins on us.
Initially, Melania tried to handle the situation in a friendly way, but the attackers were not ready to retreat. The injury marks can be clearly seen after the incident on faces of both .
Chris said when the attacks had started, they did not know how we came down from the upper floor of the bus. During this time they took our phone-bag and fled from the bus.
