World Bank to increase funding to $200 billion for climate change

The problem of climate change is becoming increasingly serious. This is the reason why the World Bank has decided to double funding to deal with the distressed climate change for the year 2021-25. The World Bank has now increased this amount to $ 200 billion.

The World Bank announced the doubling of the amount in the Summit of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). In the year 2021-25, 200 billion dollars will be spent to fight the problem of climate change. The World Bank issued a statement saying that nearly $ 100 billion would be funded directly from the bank. Apart from this, the balance will be mobilized by two World Bank agencies.

About 200 countries are participating in the UNFCCC in Poland. All these countries believe that fighting against climate change is very important. If this is not done, then the next generation may have to suffer severe consequences. The world temperature is constantly rising due to climate change.
It is worth noting that in the year 2015, according to the historic Paris agreement, there was an agreement to set the goal of reducing temperature by two degrees. But success has not been achieved in this goal. No single country is responsible for climate change. But all countries can play an important role in dealing with this.
