Christiano Ronaldo scores in historic 1000th match

Juventus defeated the SPAL team 2–1 on Saturday night in Italy’s Football League Serie-A. With this, Cristiano Ronaldo joined an elite list of players in the world to play 1000 professional matches. In this match, he scored the first goal for Juventus in the 39th minute. With this, he became the third player to score 11 goals in consecutive matches in Serie-A. Earlier, Gabriel Batistuta of Argentina and Fabio Quagliarella of Italy have done this feat.

Apart from Ronaldo, Aaron Ramsey scored another goal in the match in the 60th minute. At the same time, the only goal for SPAL was scored by Andriy Pettagn from a penalty in the 69th minute. This is the second consecutive victory for Juventus. Earlier, on 16 February, Brescia was defeated 2–0.
