Rain forecast in Uttarakhand for next 3 days

Due to western disturbances in Uttarakhand, the weather is going to turn again. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in the state on March 3, 4 and 5. Snowfall may also occur in the high-altitude mountain districts. According to the forecast released by the Meteorological Department Dehradun, the western disturbance will be active from the night of March 2. Due to this, very light to very heavy rainfall and snowfall may occur in someplaces in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh districts on 3 March.

This sequence is expected to last for the next three days. The weather will be dry in the rest of the districts. On the other hand, the temperature in many cities of the state declined on Monday. In Pantnagar and Doon, the temperature was touching record highs in the last days of February, there was also a fall in mercury. The maxium temperature in Doon was 27.7 and minimum 9.6. The maximum temperature has been four degrees above normal. While the minimum has come down to normal.

Monday’s temperature in Pantnagar was 28.6, three degrees above normal. Apart from this, maximum temperature was 18.8 in Mukteshwar, 18.4 in New Tehri, 22.9 in Pithoragarh, Almora 25.9, Bageshwar 30, Garsain 22.2, Lohaghat 20.2, Mussoorie 18.1, Roorkee 29, Nainital 17, Pauri 18.2, Rudraprayag 27.2, Rudrapur 28.2° C. According to Meteorological Director Bikram Singh, once again after March 6, the temperature may rise again.
