Uttarakhand jolted by another minor intensity Earthquake; Rishikesh epicenter

Mild Earthquake tremors were felt in Uttarakhand on Saturday. The earthquake occurred at 4:25 pm. According to the information, Rishikesh was the epicenter of the earthquake. The Richter scale recorded a magnitude of 3.4.

Earlier on November 9, there was an earthquake twice in the early hours. Earthquake tremors were felt in North India including Uttarakhand. Earthquake tremors were felt for the second time at 6.27 am after about two o’clock in the night. People who were awake in the night had come out of their houses due to panic. According to the news reports, the first epicenter of the earthquake was in Nepal. Its intensity was measured at 6.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 10 kilometers inside the ground. The second center was Pithoragarh, whose intensity was 4.3.

Uttarakhand comes in the very sensitive Seismic Zone Four in terms of earthquake. Once the state has faced a major devastation due to an earthquake. The earthquake that occurred on the morning of November 9 has created panic among the people.
