Congress ward President shot dead in Udham Singh Nagar

In the dispute of the temple committee, ward president of the Congress party was shot dead. The police has taken the accused into custody.

A Panchayat of dignitaries was called to settle the dispute of the Durga Puja Committee in the Sanjay Nagar Kheda ward number 11. Meanwhile, former BJP member Subhash Vishwas reached there with his son Sanju and others. This created an atmosphere of tension between the two sides. In the meantime, Sanju shot a bullet to the temple of Congress ward president Dr Neeraj, who was present in the panchayat, with a country pistol.

With this, Dr Neeraj immediately collapsed. Chaos broke out on the spot as soon as the bullet was shot out. In critical condition, Neeraj, who was seriously injured, was taken to the district hospital for treatment, where doctors declared Dr. Neeraj dead. The news of Dr. Neeraj’s death spread like a fire in the city.

Congress state president Preetam Singh and former Health Minister Tilakraj Behad also traveled towards the district hospital after getting the information. Where a large number of people of the area demonstrated against the accused in large numbers. In front of the Additional Superintendent of Police Kamlesh Upadhyay who came to the spot, strongly shouted slogans against the camp police.

Here, the administration has deployed PAC in Sanjay Nagar. In the district hospital, there is heavy police force. Police officials have claimed to have detained several people, including the main accused.
