Students clash over parking at Amity University

The matter that started after a small parking dispute escalated quickly. On Tuesday, Amity University of Noida trended on Twitter.On the 28th of last month, two students Harsh Yadav and Madhav Chaudhary had a dispute with two girls about parking in the campus located in Noida Sector 125 campus of Amity University. It is alleged that after this, the girls called 25 boys and beat them up. Both are BA (Political Science) students in the university.

Madhav injured in this incident said that on August 28, his friend Harsh was going towards the class room after having lunch, when a girl parked her car in the middle and stopped the way. There was a debate when he tried to remove it. After that the girl said that “I will show you my position”.

“Later, the girl came to the BA Political Science class room with 20 to 25 boys and attacked me and my friend. Many students and faculty were hurt in this. Later, when we came out to call the police, we were attacked with an iron rod.” We have lodged an FIR, the girl later also lodged an FIR for molestation.

On August 28, both these students of Amity University were coming to the university in an i20 car at around 2.30 pm. At the gate from which they were entering, there was an Endeavor vehicle. Two girls were sitting in that car. Both boys requested the guard to get the Endeavor removed but the girls did not remove the car. After this there was a debate on both sides.

Both boys then went to the university campus. After about an hour, the girls reached the class room with 20-25 boys. The boys who came with the girls started beating Harsh and Madhav badly. During this time, chairs were also lifted and thrown.

Boys were beaten with rod and stones

According to the information, some teachers were also hurt in this. The boys fled after the assault. After this Harsh and Madhav came out to see if the police came or not when they were surrounded by the same group of boys. They were beaten with rods and stones. Both have suffered very serious injuries. Madhav is admitted in ICU while Harsh has 7 stitches in his head.

Girls also file FIR

FIR has been written in the case. At the same time, an FIR has also been filed on behalf of the girls, in which these girls allege that they were molested. Police says that we have got two cross FIRs. We are trying to know the truth of the incident through CCTV footage.
