Uttarakhand government Chhath declares holiday on 13th Nov
The government of Uttarakhand has declared a holiday on Tuesday, November 13 on the occasion of Chhath. An order in this regards was issued by additional chief secretary Radha Raturi. All government institutions shall remain closed in Uttarakhand on November 13, however banks will continue to remain open.
CM Rawat greets people of state on occasion of Chhath puja
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has congratulated and greeted the people of Uttarakhand on the occasion of Chhath puja. In his message issued on the occasion of Chhath puja, Chief Minister said that may this festival of Suryopasana bring happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life. Chief Minister said that this festival gives us a message to connect with nature. The worship of sun is a worship of nature and natural resources. Sun is the source of life energy for this world.
