Uttarakhand corona update: 216 cases found on August 17

Over 200 new corona cases were once again found in Uttarakhand. On Wednesday, within the last 24 hours, 216 new infected have been found in the state. While 241 patients have been cured. At the same time, one patient has died. The number of active patients has come down to 941.

According to the Health Department, the test report of 2289 samples has come negative on Wednesday. At the same time, out of 216 cases reported, maximum 85 cases are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 13 infected patients have been found in Haridwar, 68 in Nainital, 8 each in Almora and Chamoli, 1 each in Bageshwar, Tehri and Champawat, 12 in Pauri, 10 in Pithoragarh and 9 in Udham Singh Nagar. Along with this, a patient has died in Shrimant Indresh Hospital. At the same time, the state’s recovery rate was 95.18 percent and infection rate was 8.62 percent.
