Hyundai launches KONA electric car

Hyundai Kona has been launched in India. It is an electric SUV and its price starts from Rs 25.30 lakh. This price is an Ex showroom and at the moment it is an introductory i.e., later its price can be increased.The feature of this this electric SUV, you will be able to charge almost full in an hour, but this will require a 50kW DC fast charger.

If you charge Hyundai Kona with a standard AC source, then this car will take 6 hours and 10 minutes to complete the charge. Hyundai Kona has three drive modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport. The gearbox, is one-speed automatic and does not have a manual system.

Hyundai will provide Home Charger with this car and Charging stations will be installed in Dealership for the customers. Charging stations will also be made available to the Indian Oil Petrol Pump in four major cities of India from where it can be charged.

The company has claimed that Hyundai Kona can be operated up to 452 km in a full charge.

The front of Hyundai Kona, has daytime LED lights. With this, there are low-mounted headlamps. Grill is similar to Hyundai’s other SUV, but it seems modern.

Hyundai Kona has a motor of 100kW and this car will be front wheel drive. It gives the power of equating 131 bhp. The company claims that this SUV will catch 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 9.7 seconds.

Speaking of the interior of Hyundai Kona, here is an 8-inch floating touchscreen input system with driving mode. Wireless charging is also available for mobile phone charging. Apart from this, features like Apple Car Play and Android Auto have also been provided. There is a seat leather, electric sunroof, electric parking brake.

Hyundai KONA comes with six airbags. Features like Hill Assit, Disc Brakes, Virtual Engine Sound System and Electronic Stability Control make it safe. The company will also offer a three-year unlimited warranty with Hyundai Kona.

At present, there is less access to the electric vehicle in India. There is currently no electric SUV to compete with the Hyundai Kona in the Indian market. During the recent budget, it has been said that the loan for the electric vehicle will be cheap and it will be promoted.
