Old currency notes worth 2.5 crores found in Kashipur

The police arrested two accused with old currency notes of Rs 2.5 crore. Two other accused were absconding. The old currency wase brought from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. The police has registered a case against the four and arrested them. The police has seized the vehicles used. On Tuesday, the police will present the two accused in the court.

SSP Banerjeet Singh unveiled the case at Kotwali on Monday at six in the evening. It was told that in Kundeshwari, the raid was conducted in Kunwar Singh Bisht Property’s office located at IIM road. As well as Kundeshwari resident Kunwar, Bisht’s son Bagh Singh, and Mohalla Kailash Gate, Rishikesh resident, Brajesh Dimri, son of Dharmananda Dimri, were arrested. While two accused were absconding. The police recovred about 2.5crore rupees in old currency notes.
