Senior police official accused of sexual harassment by woman constable

A senior official of the Uttarakhand police is now accused of sexual harassment by the woman constable after allegations of sexual harassment. Earlier, a student had accused professors at IIT Roorkee of molestation.
At the same time, a woman police constable posted in Haridwar has accused a police officer of sexual harassment. SSP has formed a probe team headed by SP-City Mamta Vohra, giving orders to investigate the entire matter thoroughly.

It is being told that the incident is of December 28. A woman police constable posted in the city area had complained to the then SSP Riddim Agarwal on December 29 that a police officer has sexually harassed her.
In a written complaint to the SSP, he told that she is lives in a rented house in the Bhuptavalla area. On the evening of December 28, the officer called her from the house to the highway.

After this, she got in the government vehicle with the accused. It is alleged that he started obscenity with her. After protesting, she got off the vehicle and walked away.

The then SSP Riddim Agrawal constituted a four-member probe committee taking seriously the complaint of the woman constable.
