Snowfall expected in Mussoorie around 22 Jan
On January 22 2019, Mussoorie, Chakrata and Dhanolti could receive snowfall. Strong Western disruption will pass through these areas during this period. On Thursday, the western disturbances are once again active in the hill districts of the state. Due to this, in the next 24 hours in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh, there can be snow accompanied by rains. At the same time, Meteorological Center has issued warning of heavy fog in Haridwar and US Nagar district.
In Dehradun the morning can be misty. The skies can partly cloudy in the afternoon. But most of the time sunshine will occur. There is likely to be snowfall with light rains in mountainous districts, particularly Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag. The weather in the remaining districts of the state will remain dry.
Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, told that the weather will remain clear for the next few days in Doon. It is said that on 22 January, snowfall in Mussoorie, Chakrata, Dhanotti, New Tehri can occur.
