Snowfall resumes in Uttarakhand after 1 day respite

On Thursday evening, there was a change in the weather once again after the sunny sunshine in the hills and plains of Uttarakhand. The snowfall from late night on Thursday has once again intensified the cold wave across the state.

In the tourist town of Mussoorie, the snowfall started again from around 7 am on Friday morning, which continued till about nine o’clock in the morning. Although the snowfall was extremely light. During this tourists took plenty of selfies. After that, Mussoorie was hidden in fog mist. The Kempty road has been blocked due to snowfall in Mussoorie.

On the other hand, snowfall started in many places in Uttarakhand on Thursday night. Once again, the problems of tourists struggling on the snow covered roads are increasing. Due to heavy snowfall in the last four days, the roads were not open in many places. The administration is continuously working to remove snow from the roads through JCB. But the fresh snowfall increased the JCB works.

There are power outages in many mountain areas and the roads have closed down due to snowfall. According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snowfall will continue for twenty four hours. On one side there was rains in Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and other plains. On the other hand, Badrinath, Hemkund, Auli, Parsu, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Chakrata, Mussoorie Dhanaulti, Kapkot of Bageshwar, Madkot, Munsyari in Pithoragarh and high regions in Nainital district have received snowfall.
