37 new Corona cases found in Uttarakhand on 6 July

Corona infection was confirmed in 37 new patients in Uttarakhand on Monday. With this, the number of infected patients has now crossed 3161 in the state. Today, 62 patients have recovered and returned home.

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department on July 6, Udham Singh Nagar had the highest number of 20 cases (from a private lab). At the same time, three in Almora, four in Dehradun (two from private lab), five in Haridwar, four in Nainital and one in Pauri have been reported infected.

So far 2586 infected patients have recovered and returned home. There are still 505 active cases. While 42 corona-infected patients have died so far.

Tehri and Rudraprayag district win the battle against Corona

Tehri and Rudraprayag districts in Uttarakhand have won the battle against Corona. There is not a single active case of corona in both districts. At the same time, Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Champawat and Pauri districts are also a few steps away from being corona free.

The number of corona infected cases has crossed 3100 in the state. There were 420 corona infected cases in Tehri district and 66 in Rudraprayag district. All the infected patients in both districts have been sent home after recovering. Tehri and Rudraprayag districts won the battle against Corona. If new infected cases are not found, then it is a big success for both the districts.

There are four active cases in Pithoragarh district, five in Chamoli, seven in Champawat and nine in Pauri. These districts may also be free from corona soon if new corona positive cases do not occur and active patients recover.

Secretary In-charge Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey said that there is not a single active case in Tehri and Rudraprayag districts at present. All the infected patients have been recovered and sent home in both the districts. There are very few active cases in other districts as well. These are positive signs for the region in the battle with Corona.

Uttarakhand third in top recovery rate in India

Uttarakhand was in the the top 3 of recovery rate of corona patients. The state has a 80.9% recovery rate with Chandigar (85%) topping the list. The Union Health Ministry said in a statement that the number of patients recovered by Sunday morning has increased to 4,09,082.

Meanwhile, the central government said that in 21 states and union territories, the recovery rate has been more than the national average. The ministry said that during the last 24 hours, a total of 14,856 patients of Covid-19 have been cured.

Corona cases have decreased significantly this week as compared to the last five weeks in Uttarakhand. In the 16th week of the corona outbreak, 302 patients were found in the state, while 590 people were discharged from hospitals during this period.

So far, 16 weeks have elapsed since Corona started receiving patients in the state. When the number of patients decreased in the 16th week, the number of patients recovering also almost doubled.
