Four soldiers of the army, including one Major were martyred in an encounter with terrorists on Monday in Pulwama, Jammu-Kashmir. In this encounter, Maj Vibuti Kumar Dhondiyal, who lives in Dehradun of Uttarakhand, has become a martyr. He was a resident of Neshivilla Road, Dehradun. The martyred Major was stationed in 55 national rifles. He was married last year itself and was the only brother of three sisters elder to him. In the house, his wife, grandmother and mother were not told about the martyrdom of Major VK Dhondiyal. But later the army officers gave news of his death to his wife. As soon as the news reached near and dear ones came to visit the grieving family. In this encounter that started on Sunday night, four jawans, including Major, were killed while 1 jawan was injured. Operation is being carried out by the army after covering the entire area. It is being told that the army blew the entire house, where the terrorists were hiding.

Earlier, Major Chitresh Bisht had been martyred during disabling an IED bomb in the Naushera Sector of Rajouri. Major Chitresh’s funeral was held in Dehradun today.

In the encounter between security forces and militants in Pinglan area of ​​Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have killed two terrorists. According to the police spokesperson, the search operation of the army continues in the Pinglan area with the information of the terrorists being hidden there since last night. Police is conducting a search operation with the army.

During this search operation, the army surrounded the terrorist of Jaish. As per the information received, the names of the martyred jawans are Major Vibhuti Kumar Dhondiyall, Havildar Shio Ram, Ajay Kumar and Hari Singh. The soldiers killed in the encounter are from 55 national rifles.
