Improvement in health condition of Khargone violence victim

A teenager who was injured in the communal violence on the day of Ram Navami in Khargone district, has regained consciousness after five days. The condition of the boy identified as Shivam, admitted to a private hospital in Indore, is now improving. After Shivam’s health improved, his family members heaved a sigh of relief. Shivam has been admitted to a hospital in Indore since Sunday where he is undergoing treatment. On the day of the violence, he came under the grip of miscreants, due to which he suffered a serious head injury. After Shivam’s condition improved, he has been shifted from the ventilator.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Indore Collector Manish Singh went to CHL Hospital and inquired about Shivam’s well being. Manish Singh said that the Chief Minister has clear instructions that the best treatment should be given to Sivam. The government will bear the entire cost of the treatment. There were reports that lakhs of rupees were being spent in Shivam’s treatment. Some social organizations have provided financial assistance to the family, so that Shivam can be treated.

It was reported that on the day of the incident, Shivam was going to visit Siddhanath temple with his maternal uncle’s son and some friends. Shivam was injured when the miscreants pelted stones.
