Video of son of ASI beating a girl in Delhi BPO goes viral; Home Minister orders inquiry
A gruesome video of a girl being beaten in a BPO in Delhi is being viral on the internet. In this video a young man is seen beating a girl. After this, a second girl has alleged that a man named Rohit Tomar has been troubling her for a long time and threatening her family. Rohit is the son of a sub inspector. Rohit is also the one beating the girl in viral video. Home Minister Rajnath Singh has also ordered strict action in this case.
The police have been informed that the viral video of the beating of the girl was made at 3 pm on September 2 at a BPO of Uttam Nagar. This office belongs to Rohit Tomar’s friend, in which the accused started to visit from about 20 days. He has been taken into custody by the police.
The accused Rohit is 21 years old and is currently unempolyed. Ashok Tomar, father of accused Rohit Tomar, is posted as ASI in the Narcotics Department in Central Delhi. On the complaint of a girl, the police has registered a case of threatening against Ashok.
The girl complaining against Rohit was in a relationship with Rohit about one and half years ago, but there is no connection between the two now. Now Rohit is pressurizing the girl and her family for forced marriage. The girl has complained to police station Tilak Nagar. After which the case has been registered against Rohit. On the other hand, the news of the video happened to reach Home Minister Rajnath Singh who in turn has instructed the Commissioner of Police to talk to the police and take strict action.

The Home Minister tweeted, “A video of a girl being beaten brutally by a young man has come to my knowledge. I have talked about this on the phone from the @DelhiPolice Commissioner and asked to take appropriate action on this.”
According to the girl’s family, Rohit had sent the viral video to threaten her. Rohit had threatened that if the girl does not listen to him, then her fate will also be the same. In this viral video, the accused is seen brutally assaulting a second girl.
