Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 606 cases found on 17 October

Coronavirus infection has started increasing once again in Uttarakhand. On Saturday, 606 new cases were reported, of which 165 are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 117 in Haridwar, 94 in Nainital, 48 in Pauri Garhwal, 31 in Uttarkashi, 27 in Almora, 25 in Udham Singh Nagar, 22 in Tehri Garhwal, 19 in Rudraprayag, 16 in Chamoli, 15 in Champawat, 14 in Bageshwar and 13 in Pithoragarh have been reported. At the same time, 665 have recovered, while six have died. The number of infected in the state has now increased to 57648, while 50820 have been cured so far. Currently 5538 cases are active, while 924 people have died. Apart from this, 366 patients have gone out of the state.

Health department closed Covid care center in Kashipur

The Health Department has closed Covid Care Centers in Kashipur after three months. Corona positive patients have been sent to Rudrapur since two days. So far nine patients have been sent to Rudrapur. Irregularities were also found in both Covid centers during inspection about a week ago.

In July, the Health Department started Covid Care Centers in two hotels located at Ramnagar and Bajpur Road for the convenience of patients. Corona positive patients with no symptoms were kept here. So far more than five and a half hundred patients have been kept here.
