Over 100 vehicles doused in flames in Aero India 2019 in Bengaluru

Another major accident has happened during the planning of Aero India 2019 in Bengaluru, in which about 100 vehicles have been damaged due to fire. On Saturday, there was a fierce fire accident in the car parking area near the venue where nearly 100 vehicles have been destroyed. Even before the event, there was a serious accident when two Surya Kiran fighter jets collided with each other.

Karnataka Fire Department said that the fire brigade vehicles have reached the spot to extinguish the fire and there is a smoke in the sky around the area. Aero India show has been suspended due to the smoke, and the planes will be able to fly only after the sky is cleared.

According to the DG of Fire Department, more than 100 cars have been hit by this fire. At the same time he told that the fire was being overcome by the removal of cars from the parking lot. At the same time there was no harm to anyone in this accident. According to the DG, the fire spread rapidly due to strong wind and dry grass.

Two Hawk airplanes of surya kiran team collided at the Yelahanka airport during the air show preparation on Tuesday. A pilot has died in this accident. After colliding with each other, when the plane fell down, the fire started. Wing commander Sahil Gandhi lost his life while Wg Cdr VT Shelke and Squadron Leader TJ Singh were injured in the incident.
