At the same time there was no harm to anyone in this accident. According to the DG, the fire spread rapidly due to strong wind and dry grass.
Two Hawk airplanes of surya kiran team collided at the Yelahanka airport during the air show preparation on Tuesday. A pilot has died in this accident. After colliding with each other, when the plane fell down, the fire started. Wing commander Sahil Gandhi lost his life while Wg Cdr VT Shelke and Squadron Leader TJ Singh were injured in the incident.
