Lockdown announced in Bengaluru from 14 July to 22 July

Exams will not be held in Delhi

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, “The state government has decided that all the universities of Delhi will not have exams. These will also include all the upcoming semester and terminal (final) exams. All universities have been told to promote students on the basis of old exams or on old semesters or on other evaluations without conducting written tests. Universities can decide their parameters for this. “

Two day lockdown in Shillong

The state government has announced a complete lockdown for two days in the capital, Shillong, after the highest number of 76 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Meghalaya in a single day. Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said that this decision has been taken to control the spread of corona virus and to ensure the seriousness of people towards the guidelines issued regarding coronavirus. On Saturday, 76 new cases of infection were confirmed in the state after which the total number of infections increased to 312. According to officials, 215 patients are currently being treated.
