Water ambulance to be started in Rishikesh

Muni-ki-reti ecoturism zone, is an accident prone area. Apart from the auto accident there are many people who have died due to non-rescue in the accident in the river Ganga. To prevent this the municipality council Muni-ki-reti has taken an innovative initiative.

The planning body has proposed to start the water ambulance in Ganga. For which help is sought from the Hans Foundation. From Kaudiyala to Rishikesh, activities related to adventure tourism are operated in the Ganges. In which rafting is involved as a major activity. There are many accidents during rafting. When a person is rescued there is a delay in moving the person from the accident site to the ambulance and then to the hospital. By which the concerned person could die during transit. Region from Muni-ki-reti to Kaudiyala is also an accident prone area.

In the road accident, when the vehicles fall into the trench, the injured have to make a lot of efforts to get to the road. In such a situation, the police and administration are brought to the ambulance through the rafts 10 kilometers further. Given this problem, municipality council Muni-ki-reti has taken an innovative initiative. The motive of the body is to operate water ambulances here.

This will prove to be a boon in the accidents in the Ganges. Because the Barrage reservoir is situated in Ganga, 100 meters from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Even the water ambulance can be operated. Considering all these possibilities, Municipal Council Muni-ki-reti has sought to provide water ambulance from the Swan Foundation. On behalf of the body, a letter has been sent to Mother Mangala and Bhole Maharaj through Garhwal in-charge Pradeep Rana.
