Bike-borne miscreants shoot man in Haldwani

Two bike-borne miscreants without the fear of the police shot a young man with a pistol on the pretext of asking for a rented house. While trying to escape, the youth fell on the spot. Till the time the accused could fire another shot they fled away after seeing the public numbers increase. The young man was admitted to a private hospital in a critical condition, where his condition is being told out of danger. The police on the information has started scavenging the footage of cameras engaged in the vicinity of the incident site.

According to information, Manoj Bora (31) son Kishan Bora, a resident of a Shiva Shakti Colony Bithoria number-one resident, who works in a weekly newspaper was standing outside his house on Monday. It is said that in the meantime two youths came on the bike, they asked Manoj about a house for rent in the colony. When Manoj started to come inside the house by saying that the room was not vacant in any house around one of the bike riders shot at him. The bullet hit left foot of Manoj, after listening to the sound of shooting, Manoj turned around to face the youth who tried to take aim for another shot. But before the fire, the bullet fell off the pistol. Both the accused escaped from the spot including the bike after the noise started. The family members took Manoj to a private hospital. Here, the Mukhani police who reached the site of the incident, took possession of the bullet in Manoj’s house. Footage of nearby cameras is being explored for the arrest of the accused.

The Police is investigating. There is a camera near the spot. Its footage is being checked. Police claim that the accused will be caught soon.
