Vaccination drive for youths begins in Uttarakhand

Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat duly launched the vaccination campaign for people between 18 and 44 years old at the Radha Swami Satsang Byas on Haridwar Bypass Road in the capital Dehradun. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that the third phase of vaccination campaign under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started, under which Covid vaccination of 50 lakh youth of the state is to be done.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand was the first state where first free vaccination of people between 18 and 44 years was announced, for which the state government would bear the cost of 400 crores. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that this vaccination campaign has started duly from today. He added that the government aims to take Covid vaccination campaign to every Nyaya Panchayat level as well, for which camps for Covid-19 vaccination should be set up at Nyaya Panchayat level. CM Rawat directed the District Magistrate that separate arrangements should be made for the elderly, physically disabled at all the booths made for vaccination so that they do not face any kind of trouble.
