Haldwani bar association election results to be declared today
The election of Haldwani Bar Association’s various officials will be held on Saturday. Govind Singh Bisht and Rajendra Pant are vying for the post of president and there is a direct fight between Jitendra Singh Bisht and Vineet Parihar for the post of secretary. For the post of Vice-Chancellor, there will be a collision between Chandrasekhar Joshi, Jitendra Singh Bora, Prakash Chandra Joshi and Shiv Kumar Belwal, while for the posts of Deputy Secretary Basant Bisht, Kishore Joshi, Ravindra Singh Bisht, Harinder Singh Routela, Tanuja Tiwari and Pradeep are in contention.
For treasurer post Vipin Kumar and Rajendra Prasad Pandey are in the fray. Only Advocate Yogesh Chandra Lohani nominated for the post of Library President. With this his uncontested decision is decided. Chief Election Officer Yogendra Singh Chufal said that polling will be held from 9 am to 3 pm in the morning, whereas counting will start from 4.30 pm. By late evening the results will be announced. For voting, advocates need to get certificates issued by the Bar Council and the certificate of AIBE for the new advocate.
