Corona curfew in Mussoorie; essential shops to open till 2 pm in Dehradun district
In view of the highest number of corona positives coming in Dehradun district, the area of Covid curfew has now been expanded. Not only this, now ration and other essential shops will also open till two in the afternoon.
As per the order issued by Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava, DM, Dehradun, now the Covid curfew will also be effective in the municipal Doiwala, Herbertpur, Vikasnagar and Mussoorie areas. Earlier, on 28 April from 7 pm to 3 May, the municipal corporation Dehradun, Rishikesh and Cantonment Council Garhi Cantt and Clementown area were covered by the Covid curfew.
Apart from this, vegetable, bakery, dairy, meat, fish, (valid licensee), ration, government power, Galla, cattle feed and egg shops will open only till 2 pm during the Corona curfew. Earlier, this time was fixed till four o’clock in the evening.
Only vehicles connected with essential services and government vehicles will be exempted for duty only. People traveling by airplane, train and bus will be exempted from commuting.
