Police arrest 5 in case of student murder
While disclosing the murder of a Class VII student at Children Home Academy in Bhogpur under Ranipokhari police station, the police has arrested two senior students including the school’s manager, the warden and the exercise teacher. Due to a small mistake of the deceased student due to which the restrictions imposed on the children’s outing, two senior students had beaten him brutally to death with bat and stump of cricket. While school management tried to hide this whole incident.
It is worth mentioning that on 10th March, Vasu Yadav, hailing from Vivekananda Kishan Colony, Meerut Road, Hapur, a Class VII student of Children Home Academy in Bhogpur, was killed. The school management informed the family members and the police about his death by food poising.
In this case after the intervention of the Child Protection Commission, the police further increased their investigation. In the post-mortem report of the student conducted at AIIMS Rishikesh, the cause of death was reported as internal injury and bleeding. After this the layers of this whole incident were raised in police investigation. On Tuesday, the Ranipokhari police exposed Vasu Yadav’s murder. Police station Ranipokhari P. P. Bhatt said that on Sunday, on March 10, every child had gone to church from the hostel, including Vasu Yadav.
On the way, Vasu had stolen a pack of biscuits at the shopkeeper Singh Rawat shop, whose information was reported to the staff by Singh. The staff scolded Vasu and cancelled the outing of all children without permission. Angered, Class XII student Subhankar and Laxman reached the hostel and began to beat Vasu the cricket bat and stump.
After beating, Vasu the two took him to the hostel’s roof and threw cold water on him and dirty water. After that they left Vasu in the study room. Warden Ajay did not get Vasu in the late evening when the head count of the children was done. On finding, Vasu found unconscious in the study hall. He was covered in vomit, after which the school staff took him to Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant. Where the doctors declared him dead.
