The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain and snowfall in the state till March 5.

But on the evening of March 2, the snowfall in the plains and rainfall in the areas of 2,000-height will occur in the plains. Director of the Meteorological Department, Bikram Singh said that this situation has remained due to the continuous active western disturbances. It is reported that there is possibility of hailstorms in Dehradun, Pauri and Nainital on Saturday evening.
Rain forecast in UP as well
In the next two-three days, the weather will change once again in Uttar Pradesh. In the next two to three there will be rains in the state as per the Meteorological Department. Hail also may fall in some places. According to the Meteorological Department, a Western disturbance has developed in Eastern Afghanistan and its surrounding areas. Due to its effect conditions in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, North Rajasthan and western UP will be rainy on March 2.
