Uttarakhand weather update: Rain expected in five districts today

The weather is expected to change in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand even today. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain with strong thunder in five districts. Whereas, weather will remain dry in other districts. However, there will be relief from rain in the hilly areas from Wednesday.

Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, said that today there may be rain with strong thunder in the high altitude areas of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts. From May 10, the heat can be troubling due to bright sunshine in the plains. On the other hand, people coming for Chardham Yatra will get relief due to clear weather.
