Netflix launches mobile only plan @Rs 65 per week
Content Streaming Platform Netflix is testing mobile-only plan at Rs 65 per week. Netflix has specially introduced the cheapest plan in India so far. According to the media reports last week, the mobile-only plan allows users to view content on their smartphones or tablets. The weekly mobile-only plan for new plans listed on Netflix India’s website is Rs 65, the original plan is Rs 125, standard plan (two screens allowed), 165 rupees and ultra plan (four screens) in 200 rupees.
However, the mobile-only plan does not support the show in HD or 4K quality. Despite bringing the most economical plans, Netflix is still the Over The Top (OTT) content streaming platform in India. Second largest smartphone market with the cheapest data charge in the world, India is the main center for the plans of international content and music streaming platforms. Recently, Apple Music reduced its plan from 120 rupees per month to 99 rupees.
All plans for Netflix are free for one month. After that it is chargeable. However, you will need to cancel it before the free service is over.
