Roadways clerk found unconscious in Bhimtal lake

A booking clerk working at Roadways Kathgodam depot was drowned in the lake in Bhimtal under suspicious circumstances on Sunday. People from nearby areas took out the body from the lake and admitted him to Dr. Sushila Tiwari Hospital, Haldwani, where the condition is being told out of danger. The clerk told himself to be in a lot of stress due to a tiff with a depot officer.

Rajendra Prasad (53), posted at the Kathgodam Depot for the post of booking clerk, left home for duty on Sunday. Around 9.30 in the morning, he was seen drowning in the lake of Bhimtal. The people present there took him out of the lake and took him to STH through 108 ambulance. Here doctors gave him primary treatment.

Rajendra Prasad told the doctors that he had been suffering from mental stress for a long time. He is alleged that he took leave from March 17 for his treatment, whose medical leave was alsoprovided by him. But the depot officers started talking about keeping vacations in the medical only after March 19. According to Rajendra, due to the pressure of the officers, he went into tension. He did not know how he reached Bhimtal in a state of mental stress on Sunday. While sitting on the side of the lake, he got dizzy and fell into the lake. Meanwhile, the officers said that allegations made by Rajendra are not correct. Medical leave has also been approved as per the rules.
