Taking Selfie on Thailand’s exotic beaches can be great for your social profiles, but you could be awarded a death sentence for taking selfie at a particular beach in Thailand. It is strictly forbidden to take selfie on the famous Phuket Island, and the tourists can be punished for not accepting the order. Thailand’s security officials say due to flight proximity tourists are being discouraged from taking selfies. They think that by taking selfies, the attention of the pilot flying the plane could divert and a serious danger can arise.

Officials say that the tourists who break the rules can be punished with a death sentence. For this, a circle will be built on the beach, where the tourist will be forbidden to take selfies. Airport located on Phuket Island is quite busy and people here are often seen clicking selfie with nearby airplanes in the backgorund. Because of this, it has also become a popular tourist attraction. In photos posted on social media, jets are seen passing near the tourist. However, the officers of the airport have become disturbed because of these photos.

Despite the warning given to them, tourists are coming to take shelf here. However, the authorities have not told how the safety of the flight can be in danger from taking photographs. But it is believed that the way drones or laser pens can distract a pilot, similarly selfie may also cause distraction. Officials have told the local media that those who break the rules will be prosecuted under the same law in which maximum punishment is death.
