Dehradun Mountain Cycling Club to organize MTB cycling race on 26 May
Walk the Himalayas & Camp Spillway are launching Dehradun’s first Dehradun Mountain Cycling Club on 26th May with the inauguration MTB cycling race from Maharana Pratap Chowk Raipur to Camp Spillway Retreat. The team has been conducting Cycling Races for the last 5 years and now have cyclists attending their events from different parts of India, Nepal and Bhutan.
They are conducting this race to spread awareness about cycling as a sport and also to promote cycling to the youth of Dehradun as a mode of transport considering its health benefits.
Cycling team from Indian Navy, SSB, Hero & Nepal MTB regularly participate in these events. The club aims to train the young cyclists by getting the best riders from India, Nepal & other nations.
MTB cycling race in Dehradun on 26 May
- Start time : 0600 hrs from Maharana Pratap Chowk, Raipur
- Finish Time : 0930 hrs at Camp Spillway Retreat , Village-Bharwakatal , Kumalda.
- Total kms : 33 kms
- Riders: 35-40 young children and adults
Race organisers are Siddharth Bhandari & Ajay Kandari.
